What method of payments do you accept?

We accept Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover payments at this time. 

Is using a credit card on your site safe?

Yes, all orders are processed on an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) server. SSL is the leading security protocol on the Internet.  SSL is widely used to do two things: to validate the identity of a Web site and to create an encrypted connection for sending credit card and other personal data. Look for a lock icon at the bottom of your browser when you order merchandise. If the lock is closed, you are on a secure SSL or TLS connection 

 What about sales tax?

Sales tax is only applicable to Texas residents and charged at 8.25% for all shipments going to a Texas address.

Do you accept international orders?

Yes, we will ship internationally. International orders will be accepted with the following payment options: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, and Paypal.  Shipping charges of $5 USD apply to regular orders outside of the US and Canada. International orders that include laptop bags or sleeves are charged $10 per bag for shipping.  

What if an item is damaged when I receive it?

If any item is damaged in the mail, then it will be replaced at no charge. Just send the item back and a new one will be shipped to you and your shipping cost will be refunded (if and only if you use USPS First Class or Priority Mail). Just make sure you send the item back within 7 days of receipt.

How are all of the items made and how do I contact the designer?

All of the items for sale at kaliochic.com are handmade in the US (except for the laptop bags, sleeves, cabin bags, and pleat clutches which are made in China) and are the designs of Kara Whitten. If you would like to contact us for interviews or press inquiries, please email inquiry@kailochic.com.
